Description of the NANDA International Informatics Committee
The informatics committee will:

maintain the NANDA electronic nursing diagnosis database

issue, maintain, and retire code numbers
|

b.

assure version control
|
|
|

c.
|
set rules for the structure of nursing diagnoses
|
|
|

d.
|
define the elements of a multi-language database that facilitate translation efforts for nursing diagnoses
|
|
|
|
e.
|
distribute updated database to UMLS and others as needed
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

monitor and report healthcare informatics standards related to terminology
|
|
|
