Joining NANDA-I
 
Who joins NANDA International?
Our worldwide membership includes Clinician/Staff Nurses and Nursing Administrators, Educators, Researchers and Informaticists.

How do I join?
It’s easy! Click Join NANDA-I to register online.

What options do I have to pay for my membership?

Payment methods include MasterCard, Visa, American Express 
and PayPal.

How long is the term of membership?

Our terms of membership are based on your registration date. After you register for membership, your first renewal date will be the last day of the month preceding your join month. For example, if you registered for membership on August 19, 2008, your first renewal date would be July 31, 2009 and remain July 31 each year thereafter.

How will my membership registration be confirmed?

Assuming your payment is processed successfully, you will receive an electronic receipt of your online registration at the time you join. At that time, you’ll be able to log in to the Members Only Area of the website.You will receive an email confirmation of your online registration within three business days. Membership information packets, including your membership card, are mailed on the 15th and 30th of each month.

Do I have to be a professional nurse to join NANDA-I?
We welcome non-nursing professionals and students, who have an interest in the work of our organization. Membership categories such as Associate or Student may apply to you.

Do I have to have an RN to become a Regular Member of NANDA-I?
NANDA-I recognizes as Regular Members, those who meet their country's requirements for professional nursing licensure.

May I join NANDA-I if I am retired from nursing practice?
Absolutely! Our Retired Membership category is just for you.

Membership Categories and Fees

What are the membership fees?
Our fees vary by Membership Category. Our Regular Membership fee structure is based on the World Health Organization’s classification of countries. It is our hope this will enable more individuals with interest in the work of NANDA-I, to participate in setting the future direction of the organization.

Our Student Membership fee discount is available to matriculating undergraduate students, and requires verification of student status. Download Sample Student Status Verification Letter

I'm not a NANDA-I member. May I attend a NANDA-I conference?
Yes! Save the date for the 2010 NANDA-I / AENTDE Joint International Nursing Diagnosis Congress, in Madrid, Spain. May 19-21, 2010.

May I submit a nursing diagnosis, if I'm not a member of NANDA-I?

We appreciate the work of all nursing colleagues on diagnosis development and submission. Our Diagnosis Development Committee welcomes your inquiry for assistance and nursing diagnosis submission.
