Membership Categories and Fees

Our membership categories and fees accommodate a wide range of those with an interest in nursing terminology development.

Our Regular Membership fee structure is based on the World Health Organization’s classification of countries.
It is our hope this will enable more individuals with interest in the work of NANDA-I, to participate in setting the future direction of the organization.

     Fees
     $105 USD Per Year: Class I Country
     $ 55 USD Per Year: Class II Country
     $ 40 USD Per Year: Class III Country
     Fees Based on Country of Residence

Open to those who meet their country's requirements for professional nursing licensure.
Regular Members vote, hold office and serve on committees.
Members in Country Class II and Class III fee categories will receive all membership benefits, including the NANDA-I Journal (in electronic format only).

Fee
$35 USD Per Year*

Open to matriculating undergraduate students.
*Verification of student status required for $35 fee.
Student Members do not vote, hold office or serve on committees, however are welcome to participate in all other activities of the Association.
Student Members receive the NANDA-I Journal in electronic format.
Student membership is limited to three years, after which members are welcome to renew either as a Regular Member (if eligible) or as an Associate Member.

Regular Membership Country of Residence Discount
To receive your country fee discount, send an email to us including full name, address and telephone number. Please include your country of residence. We will contact you with instructions to register at the discounted rate.

Regular Membership Nursing Language Organization Discount
NANDA-I has membership fee discount agreements with three nursing language organizations. Click here to read more.

Student Membership Discount
The $35 student fee will be available after your student status is verified via letter from your educational institution. Email your letter to nanda@nanda.org and we will contact you with instructions to register at the student rate.

Fee

Open to vendors and organizations relating to nursing education, practice, research or representation (e.g. ANA).
Associate Members do not vote, hold office or serve on committees, however are welcome to participate in all other activities of the Association.

NANDA-I Retired Membership
Fee
$65 USD Per Year

Open to those who have retired from active nursing practice.
Retired Members vote, hold office and serve on committees.
