References cited for the diagnosis label, definition, defining characteristics, risk factors and related factors should be articles, not books and should be research based if possible. If no research-based references articles are available, indicate this in your submission. In addition to nursing references, references in related fields (e.g., psychosocial sciences) may also be appropriate.
