The Diagnosis Development Committee formulates and conducts review processes of proposed diagnoses. The duties of the committee include but are not limited to review of newly proposed, proposed revisions, or proposed deletions of nursing diagnoses; soliciting and disseminating feedback from experts; implementing processes for review by the membership and voting by the general assembly/membership on diagnoses development matters. The committee has a collaborative relationship with the Taxonomy, Informatics and Education & Research Committees. In addition, the committee will work with the General Operations Committee as needed.
